Alia grew up on a farm in rural Hawaii which ignited her passion for animal science. She began university when she was 14 years old and after graduation at the age of 17 went to veterinary school at the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. She has traveled the world working as a wildlife, pet, livestock, and shelter veterinarian. She found her passion for teaching while managing conservation NGOs across Asia and the Pacific and realized that in order to truly help animals education was key. She brings over five years of experience creating curriculums and teaching a variety of subjects to people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures.
